It's not in the dictionary. What dictionary are you using? Mirriam Webster: Suggestions for kibology: PRE 1. a href="/dictionary/kobold"kobold/a 2. a href="/dictionary/kobolds"kobolds/a 3. a href="/dictionary/kabulis"kabulis/a 4. a href="/dictionary/Cuba libre"Cuba libre/a 5. a href="/dictionary/cobaltine"cobaltine/a 6. a href="/dictionary/Kabuli"Kabuli/a 7. a href="/dictionary/COBOLs"COBOLs/a 8. a href="/dictionary/copublish"copublish/a 9. a href="/dictionary/cobaltite"cobaltite/a 10. a href="/dictionary/cobaltous"cobaltous/a 11. a href="/dictionary/cobaltic"cobaltic/a 12. a href="/dictionary/copublishes"copublishes/a 13. a href="/dictionary/cowboying"cowboying/a 14. a href="/dictionary/cubing"cubing/a 15. a href="/dictionary/Cubango"Cubango/a 16. a href="/dictionary/Cabrilho"Cabrilho/a 17. a href="/dictionary/Kabylia"Kabylia/a 18. a href="/dictionary/copilot"copilot/a 19. a href="/dictionary/Cabrillo"Cabrillo/a 20. a href="/dictionary/copilots"copilots/a Maybe an encyclopedia would do you better. If you're going to wave to friends, it was Mr. Martian who cross posted this silly thread to kibology. I was just looking up what's going to happen to my analog TV. Did I look up the wrong news group? Which wrong news group? http://google.com/groups?as_ugroup=a...authors =otto +bahn My computer crossposts there automagically. Those stupid "kibologists" keep posting to alt.english.usage. Grep the spool?! Is that what kids are calling it these days? --oTTo-- Are you really that stupid or do you just play one on TV? Did you also know that "He Who Greps" means Richard M. Stallman, and HappyNet is an ISP in Japan? Wild stuff, I did not gnu that. I do know that Gnu is is not Unix. --oTTo-- |

I'm not complaining about him disagreeing or about him trying to be seen as disagreeing. People have a right to disagree, even Matthew L. Martin. Even Bob Miller. I'm complaining that Matthew L. Martin makes assumptions about facts he knows nothing about (he's not behind me watching what I do on the internet, and he doesn't have a bug in my computer to spy on me), and then uses his assumptions as an excuse to make a personal attack. I don't recall Bob Miller making personal attacks. While his perpetual focus on COFDM, and the conspiracy theories about how ATSC came to be chosen, might be annoying in their repetition, I simply do not recall him making personal attacks ... certainly not anything like what Matthew L. Martin frequently does. The first time Matthew L. Martin made a person attack, he based it on a statement that was just absolutely wrong. It was wrong because he said I did not do something I actually did do. I didn't get the results he and I both wished I had gotten because I didn't know one of the terms that was relevant to what I was searching for at the time. But rather than accept that, he persisted in his erroneous statement claiming I had not attempted any search at all, and began his personal attacks methods. He should instead of stated that I must have done a bad search if I had done one (when I rebutted that I had done a search) and offered some better keywords, or maybe even direct links if he had them handle (I do not expect him to do searches for me, although I do recall he seemed to think that at one time or another). -- |---------------------------------------/----------------------------------| | Phil Howard KA9WGN (ka9wgn.ham.org) / Do not send to the address below | | first name lower case at ipal.net / | |------------------------------------/-------------------------------------| |

Martin. However, you have repeatedly maligned his ability to make assumptions and understand facts. I have knows Mr. Martin for several years, and I can personally assure you that he always checks his facts before posting nonsense to the usenet. --oTTo-- |

The fact is, both aof you are acting like children. You just happen to be wrong a heck of a lot more than Matthew Martin. Leonard |
