Default Thomson DH4000 manual?

Any idea where I can get one?

I've just got this box by eBay, £78, and got it working but I need to
discover how to record and playback.

If you can help thanks very much.

You'll find it pretty obvious once it's downloaded the EPG. That happens
every night at around 3AM, so you need to leave it on standby...

Hi

Go to

http://dtt.opennet.co.uk/thomson.htm

Where there is a scan of the manual and details of the last software upgrade
(V2.3.9). Thomson never updated the manual to cover the two software
upgrades that they released, so the it's somewhat out-of-date.

If your box has V2.3.9 then there is a hidden engineers menu. From Settings
select Technical Help and then key in 1004. Lots of good things in there
but take care, otherwise you could find yourself reformatting the drive or
somnething!

Thanks John, and someone else. I found a near enough manual eventually
at the Thomson site. All seems to be working now.

Thanks. r0n
