What Surround Sound System For Sky HD?

Ok - I have my Panasonic 42" Plasma screen connected to my Sky HD box. Next
comes some form of Surround Sound System. What would anyone recommend - I
would prefer something with wireless speakers so I don't have to run cables
round the room! Also do I connect it to the Sky box or the TV?

Surround systems vary in price from a cheap PC setups costing £50 to Home
Theatre systems costing thousands. Name your price!

Only the optical output from the HD box supports Dolby Digital Surround so
you connect that to your Surround Amp. You can get Dolby Pro- Logic from
stereo sources so you may want to connect the stereo out from the TV to the
amp as well for when your making two recordings using the SKY HD and want to
use the TV's tuner.

Dont forget to go into the Sky menu and activate the Dolby Digital out
so that it works the decoder in the amp properly.

Well I'm afraid your question is a little like "What car should I buy,
guys?" :-)

Everyone is going to recommend what they have, whether it cost £200 or
£2000. You really do have to read some magazines for a few months, to
understand what's out there, for how much, what to look for and what
sort of reviews are available....
