Rather than wade through Lyngsat and maybe get mislead anyway I thought I'd
ask you lot. Is Eurosport still available FTA on Hotbird, either in analogue
or digi?

Yes. The English language version is on analogue only on Astra but
the German language version is analogue and digital on Astra and Hotbird.

Astra 19.2 11.258 V but you need to set the audio to mono 7.02 for
English or you will get German at the same time! Some of the
advertising is still in German, though.
I still work on a complex of old peoples housing where I installed a
number of analogue receivers in the lofts by each headend for channel
5 when it was free on analogue and when it was taken off, we gave them
the option of keeping the receivers and retuning them to either
provide Sky news, CNN or Eurosport. They decided on Eurosport, which
is just as well as Sky news was eventually taken off as well, although
CNN is still there.
It was still on when I looked in on one customer last week.

Yes, I run a Pace analogue rx for the sole purpose of watching English language
Eurosport International on Astra. British Eurosport has different priorities to mine!
