Default Nebula Digitv and Vista.

My computer died and I was conned into getting a Vista Machine spit

Fitting my trusty Nebua DigiTv card to the new machine, with the
latest Nebula Software, big problems.

Vista demands a Multimedia Video controler.

The computer supplier says it should be provided by Nebula.
Nebula do not answer my emails.

Any Ideas?

Go he http://www.digitv-forum.co.uk/ and you will find all the info you
need, still beta for vista though. You can download the latest beta digitv
from the nebula website

While you may well be right to be cautious, when it is a forum which
Nebula recommend (see
http://www.nebula-electronics.com/support/support.asp) you may also be
denying yourself news and even possibly a solution. For example, there
is extensive discussion of the Beta release for Vista. (Note I am not
using Vista, so I have given the discussion a hard look and walked away
purposefully.)

Dave,

They can be a pain in the arse but pick carefully and there are lots of
useful tips and advice on such sites. For example www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk
has a very good Forum on region free DVD hacks in case you can't find the
one you need on their main website.

PS

You have probably already looked at/tried it but someone who has a
Nebula card installed and is using the Beta software for Vista from
http://www.nebula-electronics.com/do...s/beta3710.asp tells me that
it sort of works with 32 bit Vista but that there's no hope (yet?) for
64 bit.

Good luck getting either Nebula or the supplier to say more than "not me
guv".

You asked a question and I provided an answer, if you are unable to read
through the numerous messages pertaining to digitv and vista that is your
choice/problem.
The suggestion that you visit the aforementioned forum was not an
advertisement just a helpful suggestion.
