Good luck!

Yeah, quite easy actually different number of DVMI sockets,
different brightness & contrast levels to name but three.

I'll have a guess one is an old model as well.

With cheaper one, can you hook up DVD and Sky at the same time?

Good luck!

Do you have a HD sky box or DVD with HDMI? If not you can still use
good old scart for both.

Do DVD players have HDMI or only DVD recorders? If u have Sky+, why
would you need a DVD recorder?

My plan is to get the 26" Smasung, DVD player and Sky+, but I think
the cheaper TV has only one scrat.

Does anyone know what I'm on about?

Good luck!

You'd have a DVD recorder so you can transfer a programme to DVD and
keep a permanent copy.

some dvd players and recorders have HDMI outputs - which will give you the
best picture.
you dont have to use it though - you can stick to scart sockets if you are
happy with the results.

Unless you're using it at sea in which case you need a buoy scart!

They both have two - although the cheaper one now appears no longer to be
for sale.

Very deep. You should send that into Reader's Digest, they've got a page

To tell you the turth, I don't like those speaker panels at the side
that make the TV wider

Good luck!

For that price range you won't find a better LCD than the Evesham VX.

Who do they get their panels from?

I seem to recall an article in what hi-fi stating that they were their
own. Other than that I have no clue.
