Default Sky Menus and System Operation - Guidance and Help Please

Hi,

Couple of quick questions and queries if I may. They all relate to the way
the Sky on screen systems (menus, EPGs, etc.) operate.

- is it possible to use or get the " i " button information window up about
a programme other than the programme currently being viewed (e.g. for a
programme showing later, for a programme showing on another channel, etc.).
I recognise this is possible by going into the EPG and then navigating to
the program of interest and pressing " i " but it seems a bit painful to not
be able to do that from the quick EPG system

- is their any reason why Sky have not permitted one to use or way the
interactive and menu systems can be used with a small picture of the current
tv programme being viewed being retained whilst navigating such menus, EPG,
etc.?

I am sure their were several other questions but these are the main ones for
now and thanks .

Best wishes - all input appreciated,

I don't think what you want is possible

No, that doesn't work. The main EPG and interactive screens (and music) are
carried on a certain transponder, so when you are viewing it, the tuner is
directed away from the t/p it was tuned to (i.e BBC 1's etc).
