For a few weeks now I've noticed that some of the new movies on Sky Premiere
have not been shown on Sky Movies HD. This week, NONE of them are. But then I noticed that some of them ARE available in HD through Sky Anytime. Any idea why Sky might be doing this? It would be nice if the Premiere channel had an HD equivalent instead of the pointless +1. Tony |

Many people object to SKY Sports HD because they are HD broadcasts of SKY SD Sports channels, including scaled up SD most of the time. At least with the HD movie channels you know you will be watching HD movies! |

Haven't Sky recently reached an agreement with every Hollywood studio to show their movies in HD? Tony |

You might as well say that about "everything" on Anytime, that what is stuffed on your hard drive could have been got from the ordinary channels at some other time. I find the whole Anytime thing frustrating and turned it off. I don't want to be reminded of series that have already started, or programs I've already seen. |

But as has just been pointed out in this thread, that's not true, and there is stuff which is ONLY shown on Anytime and not on other channels. -- |

If that means I can download back episodes to catch up with the series they have made me sample via Sat then Anytime might make some sense. |
