It may help if you clarify if you want (i) only to record and playback with subtitles on your computer or (ii) also to transfer with subtitles to DVDs. I say this because my (now ancient - ie 2 years old) Compro DVB-T300 does the former. But I've not found a way to convert its closed caption/subtitle files to anything I can author (although to be fair to Compro and myself I've not looked all that hard).
