Yes, but the earth rotates daily and the moon (relative to the sun) monthly.

Even on earth it gets cold at night or in areas deprived of sunlight due to
the earths inclined axis (Arctic and Antarctic circles).

Yes and very cold too down to -89C and that is just a small area, not far
off regions heated by sunlight, which tends to bend and be scatteredby the
atmosphere.

You remind me of the guy who wrote to our local newspaper about his
experiment that "proved" that global warming won't raise the sea
level. He put some ice cubes in a glass of water and waited until they
melted. The glass didn't overflow. That's the "proof."

Selected ones are use to back up silly claims used in the process of stealth
taxing. Don't plants and trees take in CO2 and give off oxygen at night?
Maybe the answer is to plant lots more trees.

can see what is really going on. Why is biodiesel taxed? Why can't people
use waste vegetable oil without being taxed?
It's almost as bad as cigarettes on sale but no one being allowed to smoke

regulations and laws at night and burn off waste illegally? I have watched
a few on thermal imaging equipment before compiling a case.

I have to say that if the problem is a serious as we are told one would have
to ask why is aviation fuel not taxed at anywhere near the same rate as
domestic fuel, also why is the government not applying any kind of
disincentive on airports in an attempt stop them expanding, thus enabling
them to carry millions of extra passengers a year.

Only yesterday I read that within the next few years Richard Branson
actually intends kicking off a whole new industry, transporting thrill
seekers (with apparently too much money) into the edge of space.. which no
doubt means that instead of any kind of condemnation he will probably be
made a lord.

I expect contributors to this group could easily come up with 101 other
examples which would expose the hypocrisy of a political system whose total
ethos is based around ever increasing mass consumerism, hardly compatible
with the reduction of Co2 gases.
