Default Comcast HD changes

I have had Comcast HD service for three years.

The original package had
1. normal cable
2. digital cable
3. HBOHD with all subchannels
4. SHOHD (only - no other SHO channels)

This week, Comcast decided I no longer deserved SHOHD and blocked it.

Comcast customer service tells me that the package I was originally offered
and had for 3 year never existed.

Did anyone actually SAVE the 2004 Comcast HD offer in hardcopy or
electronically?

Did you actually SAVE the paper bills they were sending you, and which
you paid, outlining the service they were giving you?

If I had saved the original offer, I would not be asking here.
It was three years ago.

Paper bills say nothing.... "Cable Service Charges $103.95"
no breakdown of what is provided.

Maybe the fine print of the offer was to include Showtime for a
limited period, and you got it for a longer time. Often the back of
the statement has the breakdown of package prices.

Of course you can call them, tell them you're cancelling for dish
service, and you'll be amazed what kind of prices you get. :-)
They're called comco$t for a reason you know.

Try the Wayback Machine. Comcast may have posted the offer online.

Actually FiOS is a couple of miles away.
They will be in my neighborhood before the end of summer.

I have Comcast HD. I never had SHOHD. I had INHD1 and INHD2 which are
now gone and did get UHD replacing INHD1 for a while during the
olympics

I noticed a lot of randomly occurring "in the clear" premium content
disappeared recently on my comcast. Maybe it's still there
somewhere else, but I think they were annoyed with the new set top
boxes on the market.

It wasn't "in the clear" it was authorized to the Explorer 8000HD as part of
my package

....a package Comcast now claims never existed

After watching Baron Davis get a technical for clapping, I think
maybe I don't need cable tv anymore for sports.

I'm not into pro wrestling no matter what they call it
