No it's just my eyes focus on the same point, except
when I am paraletically drunk of course, then I get a widescreen effect.
I understand you get this all the time?

Are you allowed to drive with tunnel vision? I'd have thought it was
very dangerous.

My eyes focus on the same point too - at the moment they're tracking
the words I'm typing. Without moving focus away from my screen I can
quite clearly see that there's a door frame about a metre to my left,
and a blue curtain about a metre to my right. There's a shelf less
than a metre above my head, but I can't see it unless I actually look
upwards.

You are cheating because you aremoving eyes horizontally
Your vision around the point of focus is spherical.
You an prove this by disectinig an eye and looking at the retine.
Unles u r suggesting the eyes operate as two side by side focused on
different points?
Do you really believe they do that? Hard to believe that isn't it.
Because they don't.

Is is very hard to keep your eyes still when you see thebook shelf etc.
You subconsiously move then a bit.

If you try very hard and stare at this zero 0 .
You
will see you vision is circular you may even notice you regions of vision
a very sharp area a degree or two wide a less sharp area about 10=20
wide surrounded by a wider area which is pretty hazy whic is about 4:3.

I'm starting intently at your zero, and I can still see the door frame
and the curtain. It's called peripheral vision, and if you don't have
it, I suggest you see an optician.

I do have it about 180 degrees horizontal and 135 vertical a ratio
of about 4:3

Doesn't appear mother nature was a big film buff does it?
More important things to do no doubt.

Certaintly was not watching Ben Her in 2:35:1 :O|
