All I have to say is Gabby Logan and Hazel Irvine. Even the football and
snooker have been dumbed down in order to appeal primarily to women.

Neither Gabby Logan nor Hazel Irvine are in any way 'dumbing down' the
sport. Maybe you can explain why you think they are. Besides, most
football programs that I can think of on BBC1 is fronted by male
presenters. Maybe you think they are women. Maybe you think they are all
gay. Maybe you think they are pigs.

What do you do when you are settling down of an evening intending to
watch football and find that it's being presented by a woman? Put on a
tape of your old favourite, 'Anteaters ****-Frenzy III' again?

Faggy really hates the women doesn't he...
He also obsesses to an unnatural degree about gay men and their love
of the bumsex...

Hmmm....

See that door Faggy, all you need to do is open it and come out.

Well I`m a bloke and quite frankly there`s no programme on earth that
bores me quite as silly as Top Gear does.

And I'm a woman and I enjoy Top Gear. Then again, I don't watch
soaps, so I suppose by Aggie's logic that must make me a lesbian.

I'm also a woman (although not the same one, obv.) and I don't watch
soaps *or* Top Gear. I do watch Gardener's World though. Perhaps I'm
really a tree?

Then again, I don't watch
soaps, so I suppose by Aggie's logic that must make me a lesbian.

"Aggie's logic" - that'll be up on the shelf next to the hen's teeth and
rocking horse poo, then? :-)

I agree that there`s little
on the telly that interests me but this isn`t a recent thing. The
vast bulk of broadcast TV has always been crap.

Yeah, there are only about 2 programmes I actually bother turning
the TV on for at the moment and one of them's DW.

I think we watch a little more than that, but not much - DW, the new
series of "Hustle" and Shaun the Sheep is about it....

BBC1

6.00 News

Directed at men, women, and everyone else.

We've already heard from Sir Patrick that it's being presented by
bimbos who can't speak proper English. So its for women at the
exclusion of men.

Because women like looking at bimbos more than men do? If they're
lesbians, maybe...

It's what women do. They want to talk about the necklace Fiona Bruce is
wearing and her dress and Natasha Kaplinski's hairstyle and how much
make-up so and so has got in.

I've been trying to resist this, but have you ever met a women? Or do
you reject any woman who doesn't fit your stereotype as un-womanly and
so not part of your definition? Some of us vehemently reject that type
casting you know.

[Snip repetitious definition of anything not liked as a woman's show]

It's a women's programme though and though and I have no intention of
watching another pile of soap. Give me Starskey and Hutch and the Dukes
of Hazzard any day.

Oh yeah, buddy shows with lashings of homoerotic sub text.

[More snippage]

Every single programme was a women's programme. There was nothing in
the schedules whatsoever for men of for a family audience. It was all
unwatchable garbage for the unintelligent.

Women=the unintelligent?

You said it.

He questioned it.

[And more]

Nope. All thrillers are directed primarily at women.

No action therefore its a women's programme once again.

Any programme without 'action' is a women's programme?

Any programme which is not Indian Jones, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings,
James Bond, Harry Potter, King Kong, War of the Worlds, Count Dracula
or anything from these kind of genres is a women's programme.

All thrillers are directed primarily at women because only a person as
feeble and uneducated as a typical woman would not realise how stupid
the characters are reacting to the situation. No real person would
behave that way.

Lets have some intelligent drama shall we along the lines of Aeschylus,
Sophocles, Euripides and Shakespeare.

Tell me; what do you think of, say, Stoppard's work?

There speaks a true mysogonyst.

Again, do you ever think before you post this drivel? For one who
claims trivial reporting and gossip only appeals to women you sure
spend a lot of your life doing just that here! Tit head.

I take it from this that you are one of this bimbos I was referring to.

Sports fans are not exclusively male. Soap fans are not exclusively
female.

I don't know much about Gabby Logan and Hazel Irvine. But I can guarantee
that Beckham could teach them a thing or 2 if they really want to learn
about how to dumb down a sports commentary...

Since you don't know who Gabby Logan and Hazel Irvine are I must assume
that you are completely gay and don't watch any sport on the BBC or ITV
along with every other man who does not know who these woman are.

I knew the people who keep on defending RTD's gay agenda were gay
themselves and this proves it.

You're free to assume anything you want. I'm quite comfortable with my
sexuality. Unlike you, I don't need to go off on a hate campaign against
homosexuality in order to prove what a big macho heterosexual I am.

Stephen has professed to be "gay" before on this newsgroup. It's no
biggie. So he's gay. So what? Being gay is no longer a crime. I still
don't agree with RTD's gay agenda and think it's damaging Doctor Who but i
don't agree that all homosexual's should be to blame for this.

Who, me? Afraid not... men don't do it for me. But I have gay friends and
don't feel threatened by them.

Ah, well that explains why I sensed his behaviour was unnatural then. It
was begining to bug me. My Gaydar seems to be callibrated correctly. I no
longer need to out him.

Oh well done! For your information, it's only homosexuals who claim to have
a gaydar. Hoist by your own petard.

I've only ever shared a bed (in the sexual sense) with women. Can you say
the same?

So he's gay. So what? Being gay is no longer a crime. I still don't agree

Gayvies should keep his views on sex to himself and keep them out of
Doctor Who. By using a show watched by children to promote a gay agenda he
is giving ordinary gays who I have no problem with a bad name.

A better idea would be for you to keep your outdated views on sex to
yourself. You're an embarrassment to Dr Who fandom.

I think Sir Patrick is having a laugh, not unusual in someone
with
the
keen
sense of humour he frequently displays. The Sky At Night was
produced by
women for many years, at least one of whom is said[*] to be held
in
high
esteem by him.

It's not women producers that Sir Patrick is complaining about.
Doctor
Who
was originally produced by a woman as well. It's women executives
who
are
running the BBC who only think about making programmes for women.
Where has
the balance gone? Almost everything on the BBC apart from Top Gear
is
directed at women. There is hardly anything for men on TV anymore.
Half the
countries population and the BBC licence fee payers are being
alienated or
excluded from TV.

You're right. All that ****ing endless football and snooker. The

Baz-

I must have missed that post. I guess that partially explains why RTD
seems to do no wrong in his eyes.

Don't worry, I missed both those posts. The one where I claimed to be gay,
as well as the one where I said RTD does no wrong.
