Default 1080p HDMI input

I'm looking at purchasing a HDTV. I thought I was going to get Toshiba
42" LCD HDTV (42HL167) but after reading about how the TV doesn't have
true 1080p hdmi input, I'm not second guessing the purchase.

Now I don't have a PS3 or BluRay dvds, but I would like to purchase for
the future. I also know that there will never be a broadcast signal of
1080p. But I would like to connect my Mac to the set. Why I don't
know, just want to.

So my question, is there a 42" LCD set that has true 1080p inputs for
around 1800.00?

The Westinghouse LVM-42w2 is about $1300 now. Note that it is a monitor
without a tuner, meaning if you want over the air broadcast you would need a
separate tuner.

I've been pleased with the LVM-37w3.

Where did you read that the Toshiba didn't have 'true' 1080P over HDMI. What
constitutes non-'true' 1080P?

The Toshiba website at least doesn't seem to imply that ...

I guess I was looking at the 42HL67 model. Notice that there is not a
1 in the front of 67. My bad thank you everyone.
