Hi,
I always thought I was just imagining this (maybe I still am...) but if I pause live TV for a while then start watching it will the recording run slightly faster than real time to catch up with live TV again? I did this the other day after and I check the time difference occasionally - it started off at 45 minutes behind, then when I checked later it was only 30 minutes behind live TV? If it really is catching up, I can't tell the difference! -- Regards, Steve "...which means he created the heaven and the earth... in the DARK! How good is that?" |

If it really is catching up, I can't tell the difference! only way you'll catch up is by fast forwarding. you'd tend to notice if the show you were watching was running faster - every show would become the benny hill show! -- Gareth. Time-shifting snooker helps, especially for certain players - you can play their breaks at twice normal speed, then they'd be nearly as fast as the entertaining players... -- Paul 'Charts Fan' Hyett |

I was sitting there watching it when it just popped up the 'To watch live TV you must exit Live Pause' - and the last time I looked I was about 10 minutes behind. ??? i'd guess your being mistaken is a more likely reason than some time travelling shenanigans. -- Gareth. Steve Folly has brought this to us :
Hi, I always thought I was just imagining this (maybe I still am...) but if I pause live TV for a while then start watching it will the recording run slightly faster than real time to catch up with live TV again? I did this the other day after and I check the time difference occasionally - it started off at 45 minutes behind, then when I checked later it was only 30 minutes behind live TV? If it really is catching up, I can't tell the difference! It does seem to catch up - I've experienced it myself. Try starting a recording & immediately start to play it back - fairly soon you will be informed that the end of the recording has been reached. |
