Other than sky is there anywhere else I can obtain a freesat card to enable
me to watch Channel 4 & 5. £20 is a little steep to watch a couple of extra
progs.

Many thanks

Roger

Ch4, Ch5, Five Life, Five US & Sky 3 are all available with this card. Sky
would be your best bet. At least you would know it was official.

Sky's 20.00 deal is the cheapest you'll get it. You can also find them on
eBay but they're more expensive there.

£37, you need to pay BT for line rental.

Thanks for all the replies. I do actually have sky + and have just
downgraded the channels I was using. We don't watch kids or lifestyle so
ditched them and now pay £36. I have had my sky+ for 2 years now and last
year fitted a 250gb hard drive which was dead easy. Unfortunately my old
Panasonic then sat (excuse pun) in the cupboard until we had the
conservatory built. I then thought about using the old panny in the conserv
which was fine until I realised that I could not find my old card. Hence
original mail. Since that post I have had problems with the panny locking
up. I have to turn off at the wall and reboot. This happens quite
regularly now. Any suggestions on how to cure prob would be appreciated.
The signal strength and quality are between 50 & 60%. Is this normal? I
have rechecked all the connections but have not dared to alter sat position.
The main sky+ which is closer to the dish has similar strength readings.
