I have a Sony KV32HS500 TV and it looks to me like the reds and
blues don't line up at the bottom corners. The offset is about an eighth to a quarter of an inch. This is seen for about six inches out from the corners. So if I was to look at the CBSHD bug there would be distinct separations of colour. I know that on rear projection HDTV's the convergence can be adjusted by the consumer, but is there anything that can be done with a CRT? Is a service call in order? Any help would be appreciated! |

Sony 32 inch picture tubes employ magnets on the neck and magnets placed around the tube itself to correct convergence. You need a dot generator and the extra stick-on magnets. If you have not spent time doing convergence work I would not pick this set to start with. Richard. |

There may also be some fine registration adjustments available via the
service man menu. Suggest getting a service manual before even attempting these adjustments or regulating the work to a professional. "Richard" wrote in message ... "Ergonaut" wrote in message ...
