Default McIntosh Home Theatre components

Hello,

I am planning on buying home theatre equipments. For processors, I am
considering Anthem D2, McIntosh MX-119, or Lexicon. I would like to
see if anyone owns either of these and have some comments. I thought
McIntosh is supposed to be very good. At one of the high end store, I
mentioned the same thing I was considering McIntosh. The salesperson
then proceeded to tell me McIntosh is nothing when it comes to home
theatre and that someone else makes the processors for them! It is a
big investment and I would like to make the right decision on
processor, amplifier, and the speakers. Thanks in advance.

I saw a review in one of the industry magazines on the McIntosh and it
didn't get
a very good review. FWIW. You can't hardly go wrong with the Anthem or
the Lexi..
