Not from watching digital TV your wouldn't. 30 Freeview channels not one
film premier, special or trailer telling us that its Easter. It's the same
programme line up as last week and the week before, and the week before the
week before.

You're not looking hard enough.

BBC1 10:00 - 11:00
Easter Triumph Easter Joy
11:00 - 11:40
Urbi et Orbi

Etc.

Scorsese's The Passion of the Christ is on Film 4 and King of Kings
was on BBC2.

Well, we did have the cracking documentary series on UKTV History "The
Secret Files of the Inquisition." just in the run up to it. It makes me
thankful for all the Pagan hoo-ha this weekend. ;-)

I am sure the Archbishop of Canterbury was on the news.

And that's it then?

King of Kings was on yesterday and I've seen it before and Film 4 isn't
exactly a main channel.

Let me remind you of the first two sentences of your original post:-

Quote:-

"Not from watching digital TV your wouldn't. 30 Freeview channels not one

I'm pleased to see that the newspapers list the programmes under headings
such as 'Easter Sunday'. I would have supposed that such Christian names
would have been banned by the ******* filthy stinking leftie scumbag PC
brigade (not that I've got anything against them).

Rubbish, but there is still too much religion on TV. After all there are
tens of thousands of churches in the UK, surely there will be room in one
nearby for anyone who wants to participate?

On my satellite receiver there are loads of channels that carry nothing
else.

I agree - there ought to restrictions on religion - as there are on
adverting alcohol and cigarettes. It is disgraceful what adults will expose
children to. I know this sounds trollish but I mean it.

There are about 8 or so God channels on satellite TV at the moment and I
think I've heard that the government is going to give them free reign to
ask for money over the air. Give us money and you'll be saved sort of
thing.
