Loss of sound on digital from Leeds Look North.
Seems to be a major issue with silence followed by squeals glitches and the
sound returning for brief periods. Caption apologising to "Digital satellite
viewers for the fault", but what about us Virgin Media and Freeview (Emley)
customers! Analogue sound fine. (Emley).

I have lost sound (Emley Moor) on my computer TV at least twice, over the
last few weeks, using Nebula DTT card in my computer. I blamed the
computer.

We had a similar problem last week. During EastEnders there was about five
minutes of a mixture of squeals, silence and gibberish (sounded like a
damaged video tape). In addition there was a ghostly (video) overlay which
I didn't realise until days later was the BBC London News Studio. There was
no apology at the end of the programme. The source of the problem may have
been at the BBC or Virgin Media (analogue).

Regards.

There appeared to be a problem with the feed to DSat "STREAM-0", too,
around 9-ish. Luckily wasn't in use at the time. The other five
"interactive" streams were OK.

I have heard from reliable sources that it was a timing fault on certain
sources in BBC Leeds upsetting local MPEG Encoders for both DTT & DSAT!

Same here, (more fool me) only my acronym for that program is BE (Bum
Enders).
