Default BBC Digital scheduling...

Sat down to watch episode 2 of "Ideal" two minutes before the scheduled
start and found it had already begun a full five minutes earlier than
scheduled. That meant I missed the start and the teaser which comes before
the opening titles in particular. Does the BBC expect me to sit through five
minutes of a programme I have no interest in on the offchance the next one
begins five minute early? In future I'll download the episode off the
internet and watch it that way like I did with episode 1.

I noticed that too. I switched on to find it had already started.
Fortunately, I had the box-of-tricks set to record 1 minute early, and I
seem to have most of it. Perhaps I'll watch the repeat tonight at 10. Or
is that 9:58?

You've missed it, it finished half an hour ago.
