Ashley,

Which one is the fuse in my photo?

R.

Mine is the same as Ivan's and the fuse is the black object in the
lower rhs of his photo marked F101.

I guess on yours they use a fusible resistor. Looks like R61 near the
mains i/p as it has a warning "!" next to it.

Forgive the silly questions...

So if that resistor is showing -1 resistance then it has fused?

Any idea what the spec of it is?

Richard

It should have the resistance marked on it. If it's measuring open
circuit then it's fused.

No. Is it marked with the resistance and working current?
For safety reasons do not replace it with a normal resistor.

Richard

Ashley,

I've measured the resistance at about 8 ohms so I don't think that the
fuse has blown...

Just for everybody's information, when I removed the PSU I noticed in
the etch on the underside it is described as "P1 Power Supply v4.0".

Some of the tracks on the underside do some signs of discolouration but
nothing looks burnt out and I cannot see any obviously failed
components.

Think I'll give up now and buy a new box unless someone knows what
voltage should be on each pin that goes to the processor board.

Thanks anyway,
Richard
