This is *not* the way to solicit a helpful opinion about HDTV in this forum.
By posting this type of response, most of the extremely well informed
posters will ignore you outright, while others will give you their opinion
on your obvious lack of respect for others and their experience/knowledge.

.. .

I want to buy the 46inch 1080p LCD for my Home Theatre PC Setup.
Conected to my PC via a DVI to HDMI cable, from what I read this TV
would be exellent for this :0

The thing is I think other companys are going to release 1080p TVS and
probalby better and not to far off and you never know even maybe
cheaper.

I'am looking for one with a better than 8ms response time and better
than 6000;1 contrast and a very good backlight as well. I know the new
ones will have OLED or LED backlights and from what i read that would
make the TV much better.

If you have any thoughts please let me know. I realy would liek to
repalce my 86cm HD Crt TV, I want a BIg screen, but must be an LCD as
I might install on the wall.

Thanks.

the current Hi Def TV show its best with hi-def signal, In reality,
you will see many regular signal channel which most if not all current
crop fare badly display ordinary channel such as ESPN. If your CRT
RPTV is still good and you have room for it, keep it until it dies.

Before buying any TV, have them switch to regular channel, this is
what you will see in the next few yrs.

Many old CRT RPTV displays incredible picture and color for all
channels.
