Default lost signal

When my daughter moved out she left the dish behind. Here only 8 miles from
manchester we can`t get freeview (unbelievable innit?) and I`m on cable, Not
wanting to keep eggs in basket I bought a sky box (thomson 4101) and
connected it up ,,,,wonderful ,, worked a treat. Following morning "no
signal" it`s been like that since, What am I doing wrong or am I missing a
trick?
TIA

Try powering down the box. Pulling it from the mains, remove the viewing
card. Leave it off for 1 minute or more and then switch on again with card
inserted. That might kick it back into touch.
