Help, all my magic eyes have stopped working!

Both my magic eyes have stopped controlling my sky box.

Here's the set up. RF2 on box goes out to booster in another room,
which splits one coax cable to playroom tv and another to bedroom.
Previously all has worked fine, the booster has a bypass circuit for
the signals and the red light is on at the end of the cable run
indicating power is getting through. The RF2 power is definitely on
and the tv picture is fine too, indicating the booster is functioning.
Remote control is fine as it will control the tv in the bedroom and
works the sky box if I bring it down to the lounge

Sky EPG software is Sky+4.10.c and Sky Plus box is 1.31B00

Has there been an upgrade that has buggered remote eye control, or has
something happened to the booster that is stopping the signals getting
to the box? I cant think of anything else that might cause this

I had a similar problem that was being caused by rf interference from the TV
on the coax line. Unplug the coax from the tv(s) and see if it starts
working.

If that don't work, switching RF2 off, save exit, switch RF2 on, save
exit, usually kicks it back into life. Sometimes you may have to switch
the box off after each save.

I unplugged the aerial going into the booster and plugged it back in
again and they all came back to life (back to reality)
Must have been a build up of static or something similar
