Vizio dropping prices

Vizio just dropped the price on their VX37L which I bought at CostCo 10 days
ago from $899n to $800. They gave me $100 back + tax but I did not see the
set on the display.

Yeah, I think they are following Olevia's trend. Either it's a loss leader
or there is plenty of margin to spare.

Priced for most consumer electronics are down across the board this
week. 42" plasma sets for around $1,000 are now common... As are
$500, 32" LCD's.

This Sony unit is a thousand dollars less than it was just a month ago

In late January, Vizio dropped $100 off their 46" and 42" LCD. I
noticed that last week they dropped $100 off the 37" and 32". I
purchases a 20" LCD for $400 for Xmas. Others are now selling their
20" sets for $300. I expect Vizio to match that price within a month.

Their 47", 1080i, LCD has been selling for $1900 all year, although
Costco had a $250-off-sale in mid January. I'm waiting for that model
to drop to $1600 which should take another month or two.

Since I posted yesterday, Vizio has dropped the 47" price to $1700. I
guess it's time to buy
