As a great believer in a quiet life and Keeping It Simple..... why not just install a plain vanilla BT line for your Dad. Ok you'll need to find something else to rant about, but your poor Dad will get Sky !! It does seem to be an expensive way to solve the problem - considering that he`d have to pay the line rental for a phone line that most likely wouldn`t get any use. Could you borrow a very long extension lead and plug it into a neighbours just for installation? Or in before the exchange? |

There must be a code because otherwise these things: http://www.remotecity.co.uk/navigato...ote-p-294.html wouldn't work. However, that doesnt mean that the telephone settings will accept the comma of course. I'm stumped at the moment then.. |
