Do all new TV's have RGB.
I have an RGB only scart cable.

I've never seen an RGB only SCART cable. It wouldn't work with most SCART
connections.

Would expect all new TV sets to have at least one scart skt. to be RGB.
Strange to have a lead with only rgb conected.

Yes said that in my previous post.
At least one, AV1
On my friends new Panasonic AV1 and AV2 are both RGB, not sure about AV3.

You really don't want to believe advertising hype. The composite video
connection on a SCART handles the syncs in RGB mode.

I'm not quite sure why you'd expect anyone on here to know - given just
how many brands and models are on sale. But it would be a safe guess to
say that all reasonably large screen sets from a reputable maker will have
at least one RGB SCART.

On my TV all three SCARTS may be composite, S-Video or RGB. Format
selection is automatic, too, going for the best option.

they exist.
the idea is that by missing out the other wires they minimize any chance of
interference - whether it works of course is another matter, and in these
days of HDMI and DVI it all seems a bit old fashioned now.
