While we already have Holographic Versatile Disc, Tapestry Media, and
other next-next formats that reach one to five terabytes, scientists
are already underway in creating a disc able to theoretically hold 50
TB - Protein Coated Disc.

Any thoughts on this?

How much longer is physical media going to mater? I think BR/HD will be the
last format in wide use. Seriously fast IP to the home is FINALLY being
installed in large areas, and companies like NetFlix are serious about
making everything available online in a easy to access way.
