Back to one a week from next Sunday, with Lost presumably taking the 10.00pm slot. We can't be more than an episode or two behind the US now, by my reckoning. -- Sean Black |

I shall continue to watch in HD on Sky then, as with Lost, where we'll also be four days behind the US. Broadcasters/studios, take note, if you want to cut down on the amount of downloads, show stuff in a timely manner. Are you listening C4/E4/More4? -- Sean Black |

Er.. this is the first time in a long time Sky have shown a series like this. I know. Coincidentally, this will be the first time I won't be downloading Lost or 24 :-) When they had the rights to ER a few years ago, they tried showing it shortly after the episods had been broadcast in the US, filling in the gaps with repeats as the US do, and got so many complaints that they never did it again. The difference now though, particularly with the likes of Lost, 24 and Heroes and to a certain extent Battlestar Galactica, the US seem to be waking up to the idea that people don't like all the repeat filled gaps. Now they seem to be showing stuff with a continuing story arc, rather than one-off stories, like 24, later in the season and running them straight through with no gaps. Or like Lost, Heroes and BSG, showing a block of episodes a having a longish break around Christmas and then a continuous run in the new year. -- Sean Black |

Just been on holiday for a week, and catching up with 24 recorded on Sky HD
last sunday... What's happened to the sound? It appears that sky have buggered up the sound and only outputting the center channel... making it a "Dialogue only" episode with no background music or effects at all... very annoyingly un-watchable. |
