IS this set 1080p compatible? Some sites say yes, some say no.

Read what Sharp says:
http://www.sharp.co.uk/invt/lc26sd1e&bklist=#

"Screen resolution (pixels): 1366x768"

So that 1366x768 indicates 720p only? Are there any 26" 1080p sets
available in the UK?

I've never seen a 1080p set under 40".

Sharp does sell a 37 inch 1920 x 1080 (P) set in the US. Their 26 inch sets
max out at 1366 x 768, and none claims to acept a 1080P input. My daughter
has a 26 inch Sharp. I don't think it needs any more resolution. Its 1366 x
768 pixel size would be equivalent to a 52 inch set with 2732 x 1532
resolution, which, of course, does not exist.
