Hi folks,

Anyone got one of these, and/or have any comments (positive or negative)
about it?

Thanks

No, I got the 37 inch '68' version, the 66 looked a bit flat. the 68 is
easily the best TV i have ever seen.

I just cannot get a natural picture to display on ANY LCD I have seen.
Don't get me wrong, the cartoons look great on the kiddies programs, and
it is very watchable BUT, I still love my Panny series 5. In a few
years, LCD will be that much better and I have no doubt that is where
the long term future lies (unless the new technology takes off)

Nothing wrong with it, just nowhere near as good picture.

As an update, I found an AVForums thread about the set, but at 200 pages
long it was near impossible to glean anything obvious from it. Since then
though more folks have posted with what is reputedly a common fault, where
vertical lines appear and also patches with distortion. Doesn't bode well
:-(

If you want an LCD with good SD pics and excellent HD pics i would suggest
any of the Panasonic Viera 600 series tv's, i own a 32" lcd version and on
most sky channels the pic is as good as my old JVC 28"ws CRT.
Its more expensive than your Samsungs and Tosh's size for size but in my
experience you really do get what you pay for picture quality wise

Thanks, I'll go have a look. There's no point in spending a grand+ if the
thing just breaks repeatedly.

I was tinkering with OEQuoteFix. All I could see wrong though was the square
character.
