Default Small HDTV - 15" - $150 after rebate

I have seen people post about being in the market
for a small, cheap digital or HDTV.

I noticed this while browsing the Circuit City site.

http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Adven...oductDetail.do

I don't know how good a set it is, but it may fit some peoples needs.

Original Price: $299.99
You save: -$100.00
You pay: $199.99
Mail-in rebate(s): -$50.00
Price after rebate: $149.99, free shipping

It's a web-only deal. "Not available in stores"

Started today, Jan 24th, and runs through the end of February.

..

I just realized that it doesn't have an ATSC or QAM tuner.

And a couple of people just posted reviews.

"Not an HD TV This tv is listed as a HD tv it is not !
The pix quality is very low and the skin tones are awful
everyone is either orange or blueish.....

"t.v. design looks great. The picture quality is horrible
the picture looks blurry! Sound is like the audio
is coming from a paper cup.I'm taking it back asap.
T,v, has good hook ups for computer, dvd,"

So, never mind.......

Hmm,

Lets see, here.

A 15" piece of junk for $200..

(Yes, it is $200. It would only be $150 if I could hand over $150, plus
tax, and walk out with it.)

Versus

22" LCD monitors, with great reviews, starting out around ~ $280. (Newegg)

Tough choice...
