beep noise when changing channels

have Sky+ for ages now.

have noticed in the past couple of days, that when i change channel, first
there is a low pitched beep sound, and then the channel appears. this only
happens on certain channels (sci fi, some sky movie entertainment and
movie).

anyone know why its doing this?

You have "Beep on Audio Description" switched on in the Language &
Subtitles section of system set-up.

When you switch to a channel and AD is available it will beep to let you
know when the setting is switched on.
