Recorded Pandemic last night using DVD recorder. Total programme length was
1hr 50mins. After sticking the DVD into my PC and editing out the adverts, the programme was only 1hr 20 mins - around 28% advertising! I'm so glad I don't pay Sky anything anymore (I get Sky One for free on NTL). |

Thats why I watch almost everything on Sky+ so I cann ff the ads. -- Tumbleweed email replies not necessary but to contact use; tumbleweednews at hotmail dot com |

It is interesting that SKY's own productions have one less advert break per hour perhaps due to their slightly longer runtime as opposed to any OFCOM ruling ![]() DVR's are the best thing to come to television since well television itself although the advertisers probably wouldn't agree ![]() SKY 1 of course still gets paid for NTL carriage, some of Brian's subscription still goes into BSKYB's pocket. You must have taken out the trailers as well. By the way, what makes you think that NTL don't take the money you pay them for their overpriced phone line, and pass a portion of it directly to Sky as payment for the Sky services that you're receiving? -- |

Some of the adverts are quite interesting...I myself quite like the special
K adverts! But some make me turn straight over like the Halifax advert with that stupid bloke trying to dance and the advert where some idot is talking about snot. "Brian W" wrote in message ...
