Default Preparing for HDTV with XBox and HD-DVD

I'll be getting an HDTV in the next couple of months. I'm leaning
towards a second generation DLP set because of the larger screen
sizes. But regardless of which type of set, I currently have an
XBox 360 connected to my 50" analog TV via a component video
cable, i.e., red, green, and blue. I'm planning on getting the
XBox HD-DVD player also. My question is, when I get the HDTV
with HDMI inputs, do you connect the XBox separately from the
HD-DVD player? I understand that the HD-DVD player requires
one of the HDMI inputs. Does both the XBox and XBox HD-DVD
player work from one HDMI connection?

-Thanks

the 360 and 360's hd-dvd are linked together via usb2, but share the same
video out from the 360. you'll use component or vga from the xbox to your
tv. hdmi isn't available. yet.
