Default making an AUX-in cable for B&O systems

Hi,

I have a Bang and Olufsen 2300 that i want to connect my Ipod to. This
is a simple task if I had the overpriced cable from a B&O retailer but
I live too far away and frankly dont want to spend the money on what
should be about $5 worth of connectors. I have tons of shielded cable
for headphones and a soldering iron. I just need to know how to
connect which leads to which pins on the standard B&O

Can anyone tell me how to wire up to the 7 Pin DIN used by B&O?

Thanks,
Ross

Try:

http://www.beotech.co.uk/misc2.htm#A...20connections:

It shows the pin outs for the various odd B&O connectors. This page shows
the aux link, if you need anything else search around on the site. I love
B&O gear, but it's not easy to make them play well with others. Lots of good
reference info here.

Be aware that soldering these kinds of plugs can kind of be a pain in the
butt, plus you have to find a plug. If all else fails, search E-bay for B&O
stuff, usually a fair number of connectors on there as well.

Good luck.

You need a DIN to RCA adapter. radio shack used to sell these,
dont know if they still do but its easier to buy the real B&O
DIN adapter. Order it from a B&O dealer. you can get the one
with 2 female RCAs (for input only) or 4 RCA's for tape deck
input output.
yes soldering your own is a pain in the ass. just buy a ready
made one and save the aggravation.
