So which is better to hook hp a HDTV and a HD/PVR cable box? Both of my
units have both types of hookups. Should i use firewire or HDMI cable? Which is better and why? thanks a lot for any help given |

I hate to give the cop-out answer, but it will depend. Mainly on the HD/PVR box. I'll presume it's from your cable company. Firewi Many cable boxes have ports, but some are not even enabled or require 5c encryption in order to receive content. It may not pass analog channels as well HDMI: Some cable box/TV combos have a hard time negotiating HDMI connections so they will not work or be flaky.
