Default Weak signal on Sky+ box

Hi Guys,

Not sure if anyone will really be able to help here, but I'm getting
strange problems with my Sky+ box. The signal seems to vary quite a lot
from day to day. Using the "signal test" option on the menu, for most
of this week the signal strength, and signal quality has been fine,
(about 50-60%), yet this morning it's barely regestering, and will slip
into "Not Locked" from time to time.

The weather is fine, although it did rain heavily last night.

Can anyone think of a reason, or at leasts narrow it down to:

a) Dodgy Sky Box
b) Dodgy Cable
c) Dodgy Dish

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers

Scott

Or d) dodgy LNB - which I'd have thought most likely, unless someone or
something has knocked your dish slightly.

First thing I'd do is a power down and reboot of your box and see if it
comes back that way. You could also try swapping over the inputs and
see if the problem moves to input one. If it does at least you can
narrow it down to the cable/dish/LNB rather than the box.

Regards
