I notice from Jan 1st Sky will be charging £4.75 for their "free"
magazines, but will reduce the Sky Subscription by the same amount. So
does that mean you can cancel these mags and get a reduced subscription as
I can't see how they can force you to buy them, and surly the Sky
subscription should be the same if you take the mags or not!!

any way to cancel online?
dont fancy an hour talking to indians trying to explain why i throw it
straight in the dustbin without reading it!
be a bonus not having to break my back posting loads of the things last
week of every month too when the word gets round!

Another scam, Sky charge VAT on the subscription hence get VAT on the mag!

Cancelling the mag mens VAT still added on, Reason being you'll pay the same
with or without the mag!

exactly the same as i do with it,
i'd be happy if a 1/4 cancelled

Have to agree Mike, Just holding the spine once it's taken out of the
plastic wrapper reveals loads of postal spam inside :-/

I just asked during install not to receive the magazine and they did'nt send
it (It might help if you say youre partially sighted and can't read the
print as my Brother did too!)

That's a slight distortion. Until a few years ago, Sky tried to claim
that a proportion of the subscription fee was for the magazine, and
therefore exempt from VAT. The VAT Tribunal disagreed.
