For some reason I don't recall ever buying a cable from PC World. Since Maplin became a toys-for-boys store their pricing isn't particularly good. -- Alan news2006 {at} amac {dot} f2s {dot} com |

Yeah, I noticed quite a few in poundland, I'm sure they were a pound! :-) Though sometimes they do sell items off for 50p. Why would I want something which is off? -- Ian G8ILZ |

The only bargains are those two items that are advertised - 99.999% of the of the stock is over-priced by at least 30%. Their complete systems are now competitively priced. When I costed up what I wanted, I couldn't get a better deal from a mail order house, and that was before I costed in the inconvenience of waiting in for delivery. |

If thats at Poole I suggest that you have a look at DJ Electronics - Ensbury Park Road Winton (small shop but very good prices for cables ans low priced PC accessories). km |

OK, I've learnt my lesson. I'll never say "Is this a record?" again.

I think I can do better - I (rather, my mother) needed a crossover cable, which PC World wanted to charge me £10 for but I found online for under a pound...
