Default Direct TV, some transponders perfect, others fluctuating

I'm new to this Direct Tv thing and basically this is what is going on.
I have direct TV set up at my house...works perfectly. I want to put it
at my buisness location, but I don't want to cough up the extra dough.
So I bought a dish...mounted it, and took my extra reciever at home and
hooked everything up. I got shakey signal strengths. So I had an
experienced satilite installer come out and take a look. We spent about
4 hours trying to get this thing to work. I have a brand new 5 lnb
system and I'm using the non-hd non-dvr reciever from direct. The
satillite 101 the transponders 22 on up...work perfectly 99-100. All
others go from 0-25-56-100-52-12-0 up and down on each blip. He didn't
know what was going on and I really couldn't get the direct tv guy to
come out to my buisness location so I'm stuck. The reciever works, it's
a new dish, and it's all new cable. Any help of this problem would be
much appreciated ASAP. Thanks so much!

I'm just curious as to why you got a 5 lnb dish if you're not using HD
or a DVR. As I understand it, the 5 lnb dish looks at several
satellites, whereas you don't seem to need that capability.

If you're anywhere near Houston, I can recommend a very good
(independent) installer.

I'm going to be using high def I just don't have a high-def tv
yet...thinking x-mas. This shouldn't have an effect on the signal
should it? Maybe you could ask your installer if someone has heard of
this similar problem? Thanks for the quick reply!
