Default PS3 and HD DVD Player

MY son's PS2is also a DVD player. I heard that the PS3 was also a HD
DVD player, but now I hear something about Bluetooth. I thought that
was a competitor to HD DVD format. Does anyone know if PS3 is also a
HD DVD player?

Sorry, it's Blue Ray.

Yes, but isn't blu-ray supposed to be the new "betamax"?
Isn't HD DVD better quality than blu-ray?

time will tell, but Blur-Ray certainly got off on the wrong foot. there
_shouldn't_ be any perceivable quality difference between the two, but
reviews of multi format releases seem to always prefer the HD-DVD version.

hd-dvd and blu-ray are about the same but blu-ray will be the next
betamax as sony has mega problems making them in any real quantity.

Blue Ray was still born. The fact that it costs twice what HD-DVD costs,
put the last nail in it's coffin IMHO.

And Im glad about that. The sooner we bury the rotting corps, the sooner
HD-DVD will become the universal standard and costs will come down etc.

You guys are such ****ing morons. You have NO ****ing clue. I have both
formats. Both present a great picture. And most reviewers prefer the blu
ray versions.

And the PS3 image is not as good as that from the Panasonic Blu Ray
player.

The worst part of this "war" is that it gives every mentally challenged
teenager, such as yourself, a chance to express their stupidity and herd
mentality. Studies have shown that the HD DVD fanboys have an IQ 20
points less than the blu ray fanboys. Also HD DVD fanboys are more
likely to belong to a car club than blu ray fanboys.
