Throw a $20 ATSC digital tuner

Wes:

Which "cheap" tuners are you using,
and where are you finding them?

Don't believe a word he says. He'll exaggerate every time to make his
choice of TV (a PC with tuner cards) seem superior in every way to
anything else that could possibly exist.

and remember,,,,

Wes is the guy who is going to "retire" off the interest he earns on
the $70k he paid into Social Security, and is going to turn down
Medicare, because he can get full Health Insurance from Blue Cross for
$100 bucks a month at 65 years old,,,

ROTFL

For others that might read this. I made none of these comments. I've been
retired for over 4 years now and still have a few to go before I qualify
for SS payments.

You don't have him killfiled, like almost everyone else? ;-)

No, I made no such claims. It was just more of your stupid bull****. I've
paid in much more than $70k into SS over the years. Had the money paid
into them by me and my employer been put elsewhere, drawing interest,
there would be well over $500K there now. And yes, I could live off the
interest of $500K. This was my claim. This is fact. I have no idea where
you came up with $70k or the crap about Blue Cross. I don't need medical
insurance. It's been paid up for life since 1967.

So coming up on the holiday season, does an economical HDTV exist?

What's your budget?

See Consumer Reports magazine (US) at any public library. Start with
latest issue and work your way backwards. Should answer all your
questions.

You can also try:

http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/index.htm

http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/e..._hdtv_ov_1.htm

But you'll need to buy an online subscription ($4.month?) to see
everything at the above web site.
