Default Another what to buy question

We're thinking about a 26" - 32" hdtv for the living room. The owiic (one
who is in charge) likes Philips or Samsung. Any preferences from the group?
TIA

Well, if the OWIIC prefers Philips or Samsung, what good does it do to
know that the best monitors/tvs in that size range are the Viewsonic
LCDs??

Assuming you're talking about a widescreen, 32" is too small unless you
can live with an SD picture of 26", which is what you'll get with a 32"
widescreen.
