I have a HDTV television and a sat dish that was on the house when I moved
in. What more do I need to receive Freeview HDTV? My daughter uses a special SKY receiver into the HDMI socket but I don't need or want Sky. BTW this is in UK. Thanks. Howard. |

Having a true HDTV Receiver you should have an ATSC Tuner built into the
set. Therefore, according to the technologies present, connecting an off the air antennea to the set should allow reception of any analog, digital, and HD programming being broadcast within your reception area. At least that is how it works in the US. Otherwise, as posted, you will require a HDTV Tuner box to receive the HD Broadcasts. wrote in message ups.com... well first you need a HDTV cabable box so that you can watch HDTV. No, approximately 500 people in a part of the London area are involved in a HD test. He wanted to know how to get it. A quick google search told all about it, and revealed that he almost certainly could not get it. Alan |
