Having just retuned my Sony VTXD800U freeview box, I no longer get
event display, or any other programme information apart from the
usual station ID top left hand corner, no EPG programme guide at all!

Living in Huddersfield I pick up Emely Moor transmitter, anyone any
ideas please?

Brian (Golcar, Huddersfield)

I've been experiencing same issue with this receiver. One solution, after a
re-scan, disconnect from mains and re-connect.

I have the same problem on Fenton Transmitter (Central region) and
found that you only need to disconnect from mains and reconnect. There
is no need to re-scan.

Unplugging it from the mains, waiting a minute & plugging in again worked
for me (seved by Blynplwf transmitter).

You don't need to disconnect from the mains at all. Simply hold the
front panel power button in for about 5 seconds whilst the box is in
standby. The box may wake up, but during the process the front panel LED
will turn orange in colour. At the end of the EPG update the box should
return to standby (red LED) thereafter all should be OK.

Disconnecting/reconnecting the mains doesn't always work (in my
experience) and is a lot more 'brutal' than is necessary IMO.

Thanks to all that replied, whist away at work today, I (always) disconnect
(mains) from set top box and TV etc., when I returned home tonight, plugged
it all in and 'hey presto' ........... EPG is back!!
