Default Video Sender with UHF output

I want to use a video sender to connect to a TV set which only has a UHF
(coax) input and no separate video inputs. Went to Argos to buy one but none
of the ones I saw had UHF outputs.

Does anyone know of one please?

Thanks,

V

The requirement is so rare that I doubt if any are avavilable. What you
will probably need to do is to buy a modulator which goes on the output of
the sender's receiver (if that makes sense) to provide a uhf feed. Cost
about £19 on ebay.

Au contraire. I have a "medion" branded sender I bought from Toys 'R' Us a
year or so ago for £20 that has both composite and UHF video outputs, as
well as left and right audio outputs.

I only use it as a remote extender these days, but it would certainly do the
job required by the OP.

Pleased to be corrected; but, are they still available? Nothing on their
website.

Thanks but, malheureusement, it does not seem to available these days -
either via the Medion or Toys r Us websites.

At the risk of being a bit of a "net policeman" I think that you will
find that the UHF ones, even if available, are not legal.
You could use a 2.4GHz system and then feed its output into a UHF
modulator and then into the aerial input though.

Oh well. I did think it was a bargain when I bought it on impulse, so it
might have been end-of-line. If you have an old VCR (having upgraded to a
PVR, for example). you could use that as the UHF modulator, rather than
buying a separate unit.

that can't be quite true. VCR's give a uhf output

I think you're misunderstanding what the OP wants, a video sender with an RF
output.

It will be illegal if it feeds an aerial (and therefore becomes a
transmitter), but perfectly legal if connected directly by cable.
