setting sky remote to AV

Not sure if this is a TV issue or Sky so I will ask in here first.
Purchased a new TV today, Goodmans K28W15FT (rebadged Daewoo) and I have
setup the sky remote to control the TV volume and standby, etc.
However when I switch the TV back on with the Sky remote the TV switches on
to normal mono mode and we then have to press a button on the TV remote to
switch it to AV1.
What I would like to do is to set it up so when switching on the TV it
automatically goes to AV1.

You may have incorrectly programmed the Sky remote. You should NOT do
the green button sequence at the end.

You may be using the VCR scart output on the digibox instead of the TV
one.

You may have turned the digibox scart control off.

You may be using a scart lead that isn't fully wired.

You may have bought a crap TV. Not all implement scart correctly.

Well the resolution was almost in that list. Scart control (on sky
dashboard) was ON but not working, this was linked to my other problem of
the widescreen not setting. I turned scart control off, changed a few
settings on the TV that were blocked before and switched scart control back
on again. Its all working now. Thanks for the reply.
