Default Anyone tried Evesham PVR 160?

Does anyone have any experience with using the Evesham PVR 160 or know of
any good reviews?
It is a dual tuner Freeview unit with a 160 Gb HD on offer at Woolies for
£149 so seems like a good buy. One worry would be as it is a relatively
unknown manufacturer, would it be updated on air regularily? I have a
Freeview set top box which has never received an on air upgrade when my
other unit has upgraded itself many times. This means the teletext no longer
works and the EPG is still now/next only.
The Evesham unit is supposed to be very simple to use which is what is
attracting me to it to be honest, and the price is good but price is not my
main concern.

Review in What Video and High-Definition TV issue 314 is pretty favourable.

The price is OK , but not that far below the Humax PVR9200T which is a known
make with good support and regular software updates.
I'd pay the bit extra and go for that rather than take a chance

I've never dealt with them myself though I've heard some interesting tales.
Still , I had the hardware in mind more than the supplier , and thats almost
certainly just from a generic manufacturer with a name badge stuck on it

Argos have something that looks like the same thing under the Digihome
brand, as well as an 80GB version. And ASDA have an 80GB model that looks
the same under (I think) the Goodmans banner.

I bought my first PC from them in 1995.

P133, 16MB, 4.2GB, no CD, no sound, 14" Viewsonic, £699.

On first boot I got the message, " There is no hard disk".

On the phone Evesham told me to open it up, and I connected the IDE
cable.

That's when it all started, I've built them ever since.
